SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- A high school student in Scottsdale was arrested Friday for allegedly selling brownies and cookies that contained marijuana to other kids.

Scottsdale police said they responded to Chaparral High School after receiving word that a female student had thrown up after eating a brownie that she said was laced with pot.

The officer investigating the incident was able to locate the 16-year-old boy who had sold the girl the brownie.

The teen reportedly admitted that he had brought several brownies and cookies to school that contained marijuana. He added that he sold the brownies and cookies to 11 students, seven of which he knew personally.

Since the investigation took place at the end of the school day none of the students were on campus.

The parents of the seven students that the teen knew were contacted and informed of the situation.

The teen was booked into jail on multiple marijuana related charges.
