PHOENIX -- A series of weak weather disturbances will continue to move across Arizona over the next couple of days, but other than some isolated showers in Northern Arizona, much of the state will remain dry and will see a warming trend as we head toward the weekend.
By Friday, highs will be back in the low 90s. By Sunday, Mother’s Day, highs will be in the upper 90s.
As a ridge of high pressure builds into the west next week, temperatures will continue to rise.
Early next week we anticipate highs will range from 100 to 104 around metro Phoenix.
