PHOENIX -- Temperatures are headed a bit higher this afternoon, despite the presence of more cloud cover.
Thin, high cirrus clouds are spreading into the state from the west today. Look for a partly sunny afternoon and a Valley high near 99 degrees. That's about three degrees above average for this time of year.
Tomorrow, we head back to the triple digits with a forecast high of 101 degrees.
Temperatures will drop back to the upper 90s for Thursday through the weekend.
No rain is expected for at least the next week.
