PHOENIX -- Arizona will be treated to a warm and dry Easter weekend this year.
Temperatures will be on the rise Friday as high clouds that have been streaming into the state this week finally move out. With abundant sunshine, most Valley neighborhoods will warm to the upper 80s or low 90s this afternoon.
For the weekend ahead, high clouds are expected Saturday and mostly sunny skies forecast for Sunday. A high of about 88 degrees is expected both days.
Sunday morning's temperatures should start out in the mid 50s to low 60s around the Valley.
A weak low-pressure system will move through the region Sunday and into early next week.
Although no rain is expected, it will lead to breezy conditions across our state Sunday through Tuesday.
Monday and Tuesday are also expected to be a bit cooler with afternoon highs in the low 80s.
