PHOENIX -- Mother Nature will treat Arizonans to a nice little warm-up this Valentine's Day.
After two mornings of near-freezing temperatures in the Valley, overnight lows started off a few degrees warmer Thursday, in the mid to upper 30s. This afternoon, highs will finally return to what's considered normal for this time of year, topping out near 70 degrees under clear skies.
Sunshine is expected in the high country today, too, with forecast highs there in the 40s and 50s.
Temperatures will climb a few degrees over the upcoming weekend, and more dry and calm weather is expected.
A storm system may bring changes by about the middle of next week.
