PHOENIX -- The Valley is in for a warm-up this afternoon with a return to the upper 90s.
Temperatures should peak around 98 degrees under sunny skies with light winds.
Overnight lows are expected to dip to the mid 60s to low 70s tomorrow morning under clear skies.
Winds are expected to pickup statewide tomorrow afternoon as a cold front approaches from the west.
In the Valley, look for southwesterly winds between 10 and 20 mph, but those should pick up to 15 to 25 mph with higher gusts by Thursday afternoon.
No rain is expected in the Valley from the storm, but temperatures will drop off after the front moves through. Highs should be in the upper 80s by Friday with lows dipping to the upper 50s to upper 60s by Friday night and lasting into the weekend.
