Guess the First 100-degree Day Contest

PHOENIX -- A mostly dry weather system moves through Arizona today, bringing a few weather changes.

The Valley has topped out in the 90s all week, which is a few degrees above average for this time of year.

As today's low-pressure system pushes through Arizona, we'll be slightly cooler in the mid 80s under partly sunny skies.  There is a slight chance for an isolated shower or thunderstorm late morning and early afternoon before skies clear by this evening.  Breezy conditions are likely across the state, with 10-15 mph southwesterly winds in the Valley.

Abundant sunshine returns Friday for the start of a big warm-up.  Friday, look for highs near 90 degrees, with mid to upper 90s likely all weekend and into much of next week.

After today, no rain is likely for the next week.
