PHOENIX -- The magic of Mozart was brought to inmates at Sheriff Joe Arpaio's Tent City Sunday afternoon.
It was the brainchild of London musician R.J. Astor, who's touring around the country to bring the magnificence of Mozart to unusual venues.
He teamed up with pianist Qingqing Ye and put on quite a show at the jail.
There was no cost to put on the concert and the inmates seemed to like it.
Arpaio said he was shocked but happy to see the inmates enjoy the show.
"I think it's educational, it's therapy," he said. "I'm really shocked that they like it."
Arpaio said since the inmates liked the concert so much he may consider starting a new music program for them.
