TEMPE, Ariz. -- Tempe is definitely the place to be this weekend. Besides the Territorial Cup on Saturday, Tempe will be offering several events to get in the holiday spirit.

Tempe Mayor Mark Mitchell joined "Good Morning Arizona" Tuesday to talk about the events.

On Friday at 6 p.m., Tempe will host the Fantasy of Lights parade. The parade goes down Mill Avenue, starting at Third Street and ending at Centerpoint with the tree lighting ceremony. Santa Claus will be at the ceremony.

On Dec. 14, Tempe Town Lake will host the Fantasy of Lights boat parade, the biggest boat parade in Arizona. The event opens at 5 p.m. and the parade starts at 7 p.m.
