Suspects sought in Phoenix home burglary, pet abuse

PHOENIX -- Authorities are searching for at least one person who burglarized a Phoenix home and abused the family's pet.

It occurred shortly before 11:30 a.m. Jan. 22 at a home near 59th Avenue and Baseline Road in the Laveen area.

Authorities do not have any suspect information, but a vehicle was captured on surveillance video.

The vehicle is described as a silver or gray Ford F-150 pickup truck made between 1997 and 2003. It has a white tool box in the bed, a horizontal paint stripe running the length of the bed, and stock chrome or alloy wheels.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS or toll free at 1-800-343-TIPS. Anonymous tips can also be left online at www.silentwitness.org.

Witnesses could receive a reward of up to $1,000.
