PHOENIX -- A mainly dry storm system is moving through Arizona today, bringing a few weather changes just in time for your weekend.
Clouds were approaching from the west on Friday morning, and this afternoon partly sunny to mostly cloudy skies are expected across the state. Very little rain is expected from this storm, but winds should pick up from the southwest as the front moves through.
Here in the Valley, look for southwesterly winds of up to 15 mph, but they could be as strong as 25 mph in Northern Arizona where a Red Flag Warning is in effect for parts of Navajo and Apache Counties.
Look for a Valley high of 96 today under partly sunny skies. Skies should clear out overnight for cooler overnight lows in the 60s and low 70s across town for Saturday morning.
Mostly sunny skies are expected for both Saturday and Sunday with afternoon highs in the low 90s Saturday and mid 90s Sunday.
Triple digits are expected to return early next week, and no rain is expected in the Valley for the next seven days.
