PHOENIX -- No real changes in our forecast from the past couple of days. Friday, eastern Arizona was seeing less convection than on Thursday. There were a couple of thunderstorms in southeast Arizona, but other than that, the state remains pretty quiet.
Saturday and Sunday, we’re expecting highs right around 106 degrees. There is a chance on Saturday for a few isolated showers and thunderstorms in the eastern third of our state.
Next week we will warm up a bit, with temps nearing 110 in some Valley locations, but we’re not anticipating any record highs.
