TEMPE, Ariz. -- Going topless is a right some say everyone should have.

Women and men protested Sunday at the Tempe Farmer’s Market as part of International Go Topless Day.

The women who took part said they want to be able to walk around without a shirt on just like men.

But they admit, the general public probably isn’t ready to see all the bare skin.

“Back in the 20s, it use to make people uncomfortable to show women’s legs, but times change, people change, attitudes change,” said Jenna Duffy, protest organizer.

Protesters say it’s not just about the right to go topless, but also about equal rights.
