PHOENIX -- The high temperature in the Valley Saturday was slightly above normal, and the warming trend will likely continue through the middle of next week.

The Phoenix area saw a high of 68 degrees Saturday, and temperatures will continue to increase over the next few days.

Highs are expected to be in the upper-70s Monday and Tuesday, with a possibility of reaching 80 degrees.

Forecast maps show a significant change later in the week, however.

Clouds will roll into the Valley on Thursday and the high tempereature will drop to around 60 degrees on Friday.

There is also a 20 percent chance of isolated showers in Phoenix on Friday. The high country could see some snow.
