PHOENIX --  A new twist in the Jodi Arias trial, as Dr. Phil denies bank-rolling Arias' family in exchange for notes on her trial.

The TV psychologist was accused of paying the alleged murderer's parents, putting them up in a hotel in Arizona during her extensive trial in exchange for notes her mother took while in court.

This weekend, Dr. Phil tweeted that the rumors are untrue and that he nor his production company have never met the Arias family or paid or promised them anything. He also added that he and his wife are praying for the family of murder victim Travis Alexander.

On Monday's Good Morning Arizona, Scott Pasmore sat down with 3TV's Mike Watkiss, who has been in the courtroom since the Arias trial began.

Watkiss said we can be prepared for Round Two, as prosecutor Juan Martinez faces off with domestic violence expert Alyce LaViolette. "We have this angry prosecutor against the therapist who has spent her career dealing with angry people."

Watkiss went on to analyze last week's courtroom proceedings, saying: "I've covered hundreds of trials. Thursday was about as weird a day as I have ever seen in an American court of law."

Watch Mike's commentary to hear his take on all the action in the courtroom.
