PHOENIX -- After an active Sunday of monsoon activity, Monday may bring round two.
Look for partly cloudy skies today and a high temperature sof 103 degrees. Storms are expected today in the high country, and by late afternoon and especially this evening, those storms could move into the Valley.
Storms will continue to bring the threat of strong downburst winds and heavy rain.
Sunday's storms dumped a wide rainge of rainfall totals, from 0.03 inch at Sky Harbor airport to 2 inches in Gilbert.
Storm chances remain elevated today and again tomorrow before a drying trend begins Wednesday.
Wednesday through Friday should be a few degrees warmer, with just a slim chance of storms.
Storm chances may pick up again over the weekend.
