PHOENIX -- Valley residents have been treated to some pretty nice weather the last few days, and all indications are that this trend will continue.
After a long, hot summer, afternoon temperatures have plunged from the triple digits to the 90s to the low 80s in the last few weeks.
The average high for this time of year in the Valley is 89 degrees, but we'll be below that mark for at least the next week.
Light winds, clear skies and dry weather will continue as the jet stream and our storm track stays to the north.
Today, look for sunshine and a high of 83 degrees. About the same is expected tomorrow, with highs near 85 for Friday and Saturday. Overnight lows in the Valley will range from the upper 40s to upper 50s.
