PHOENIX -- A Mesa woman arrested for stabbing her husband during an argument over a quiz in Cosmopolitan magazine was sentenced Thursday morning.
Noelle Clough, 23, was sentenced to three years probation with domestic violence terms and 90 days deferred jail as part of a plea deal.
Clough pleaded guilty to one count of aggravated assault in October.
Police said Clough and her husband had been drinking before arguing about the magazine quiz and then about their ex-lovers last June.
Clough told police that her husband threw two kitchen knives on the floor and told her to stab him. Clough stabbed her husband in the back with a 4-inch paring knife as he walked away from her.
The husband was not seriously injured.
