MCSO: Man wanted for questioning in attempted sexual assault

PHOENIX -- The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help finding a man who’s wanted for questioning in an attempted sexual assault case.

According to MCSO, the incident took place in the area of Chandler Blvd. and Gilbert Road on Sept. 8 at around 2:30 p.m.

MCSO said the unidentified suspect entered an unlocked residence and attempted to sexually assault a woman as she slept on her couch.

The man authorities are looking for is said to be approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs around 180 pounds.

He’s between the ages of 25 and 35 and has dark hair, hazel eyes, and was last seen wearing dark jean shorts.
