'Get It to Go Bandits' wanted in 4 Tempe, Mesa fast-food robberies

TEMPE, Ariz. – A reward is being offered to help identify and locate two suspects wanted in connection with four armed robberies at fast-food restaurants in Tempe and Mesa.

Police said the "Get It to Go Bandits" are linked to robberies over the past few weeks at Long John Silver's near Broadway Road and Priest Drive in Tempe; Carl's Jr. near Southern Avenue and Longmore in Mesa; Burger King near Broadway Road and Priest Drive in Tempe; and Burger King near Broadway Road and McClintock Drive in Tempe.

The suspects enter the restaurant wearing masks or bandannas and carrying long rifles and/or handguns, according to police. They order the employees to the floor or into the back of the business.

One suspect has an employee open the register while making threats and demanding money as the second suspect watches the other employees and customers.

During three of the robberies, the suspects fired shots but police said no one was injured.

The suspects fled in a white four-door car after two of the robberies.

One suspect is described as a Hispanic male with a heavy build, 5 feet 9 inches to 6 feet tall and 25 to 30 years old. He had tattoos on his arms, a tattoo of a cross on his left wrist and a teardrop tattoo with three dots above it on his left cheek. He was seen wearing a hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, Nike sandals with socks, an orange or yellow bandanna over his face and dark gloves.

The other suspect is described as a Hispanic male with a thin build, 5 feet 8 inches to 6 feet tall and 25 to 30 years old. He was seen wearing a hooded sweatshirt, baggy pants, dark-colored shoes, dark beanie cap, orange or yellow bandanna over his face and multicolored gloves.
