PHOENIX -- Born at exactly midnight, Vivianna Cordova is the first baby of 2014.
Measuring 19.5 inches long and weighing in at 6 lbs. 5 oz., Vivianna is the Cordovas' second child -- their first daughter.
Just eight hours after welcoming their baby girl into the world -- a few days earlier than expected -- Dominica and Sebastian Cordova allowed 3TV's Tess Rafols to introduce little Vivianna to Arizona's Family.
Nestled in Daddy's arms, she slept through her TV debut.
Mom and Dad, however, have had very little sleep.
"I think this one was easier than my first. ... Way easier," Dominica said.
While Vivianna's birth might have been easier on Dominica, it was a long labor. She and her husband arrived at Banner Estrella Medical Center in West Phoenix at 9 a.m. Tuesday.
"I'm very excited, actually," Sebastian said, looking down at his tiny daughter.
The Cordovas said another mother was giving birth a few rooms away, but Dominica was further along.
"It was like a little race," Sebastian said with a chuckle.
Vivianna has a 1-year-old big brother waiting for her to come home.
