PHOENIX -- A Valley couple wanted a one-of-a-kind wedding, so on Thursday they tied the knot on the carousel at the Arizona State Fair.

Jake and Rachel Reisinger said they wanted a 1930s style wedding, and that’s just what they got.

“We wanted to do it at the state fair, have it more like a vintage 1930s, and it was a blast, it was a lot of fun,” said Jake.

The music and clothes were all old-school, and despite a few minor hiccups, the ceremony went really well.

“We made it through. I dropped the ring, he found it,” said Rachel.  “He’s just always helping me to solve my problems, so to know he’s beside me forever now is a great, great feeling.”

Since the ceremony was at the fair the flower girl tossed popcorn, and the bridesmaids carried carnival treats like cotton candy instead of bouquets.
