PHOENIX -- A strong and deep low-pressure system is moving through the West, bringing cool and windy changes to Arizona.

Today, look for sunshine and warm Valley temperatures near 96 degrees, but a breezy afternoon is also on tap with southwesterly winds between 10 and 15 mph.

In the high country, a Wind Advisory is in effect for both today and tomorrow, 11 a.m.-8 p.m.  Kingman, Flagstaff, Prescott and most of the Rim Country and White Mountains are included in the Advisory.  Look for winds speeds there between 25 and 35 mph with potential gusts up to 55 mph.

The system will be dry for most of Arizona with only a slight chance for any rain in Eastern Arizona.

The Valley will be slightly cooler tomorrow with a high of around 91 degrees and more breezy conditions.

On Friday, we'll top out in the mid 80s with sunshine and lighter winds.  Overnight lows will drop into the mid 50s to 60s by Friday night and over the weekend.

Mild, dry weather is expected for the weekend ahead.
