PHOENIX -- There’s a 30 percent chance for isolated thunderstorms around metro Phoenix into Tuesday night. The best chances for storms is in the East Valley. We also may see some blowing dust and no rain, a rather familiar scenario this summer.
Unseasonably warm temperatures will be the story for the rest of the week, with Valley highs in the range of 106-110 through Friday. The average high right now is 103 degrees.
We also anticipate the monsoon will take a bit of a break after Tuesday night. However, the chance for thunderstorms will be back in the forecast by Sunday afternoon.
