PHOENIX -- A storm system moves through the West today, bringing breezy conditions and mild temperatures to Arizona.
The week was off to a pleasant start Monday with abundant sunshine and a high temperature of 85 degrees.
A low-pressure system centered over Utah Tuesday morning will usher in slightly cooler air today and could even lead to some isolated afternoon thunderstorms in the higher elevations of Northern and Eastern Arizona.
It's expected to stay dry in the Valley, and afternoon temperatures will top out in the mid 80s. Breezy conditions are possible with westerly winds between 10 and 15 mph this afternoon.
Once the storm system pushes east, a ridge of high pressure builds in to the Southwest. Expect sunshine and high temperatures in the low 90s from Wednesday all the way through the weekend.
No rain is expected until possibly early next week.
