PHOENIX -- A reward is being offered to help identify and locate two suspects in an armed robbery at a Circle K store in Phoenix.

The robbery happened at the convenience store at Bethany Home Road and 23rd Avenue shortly before 1 a.m. on April 4.

Police said a man and a woman each grabbed two 12-packs of beer and walked quickly toward the exit doors without attempting to pay. One security guard blocked the door and another guard ordered both suspects to stop while holding a can of pepper spray.

The male suspect pulled out a handgun and pointed it at both guards, demanding they get out of the way.

The guards complied and both suspects ran out of the store without the beer. Police said they fled the parking lot in a red Ford Taurus driven by an unknown person.

The male suspect is described as Hispanic, 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall, 205 to 225 pounds with a shaved head and wearing a dark shirt.

The female suspect is described as Hispanic, 5 feet 4 inches to 5 feet 6 inches tall, 140 to 160 pounds with black hair put up in a bun and wearing a white long-sleeve blouse.

Silent Witness is offering a reward of up to $1,000. Call 480-WITNESS or visit silentwitness.org with any information about the suspects.
