PHOENIX -- Valley temperatures on Tuesday morning are forecast to be in the 50s and 60s. That’s about where we were on Monday morning. In the mountains, a freeze warning is up through 8 a.m. Tuesday. For the second straight night above 6,500 feet, we’re looking for temps at or just below freezing.

For the next week, we’ll be on a bit of a roller coaster when it comes to temperatures. We’re headed up for the next day or so, back down by the end of the week and by early next week, we’ll be back to triple-digit highs. No one like to hear that after the nice weather we've had the past few days, but it's reality. And generally, we can’t guarantee there will be no more triple-digits until after the 3rd week of October.

In the meantime, no rain is expected in the Valley for the next seven to ten days.
