PHOENIX -- Police have released new surveillance video and photos as they continue to search for two suspects wanted in connection with a string of armed robberies in Phoenix and Tempe.
Police now say the suspects committed no less than six separate armed robberies and one attempted armed robbery at dollar stores and Little Caesars locations between July 20 and Sept. 23.
According to police, one of the two suspects uses a note to demand money from the cash registers and one of the suspects displays a handgun in his waistband. The suspects flee the area after obtaining the money.
No vehicle has been observed.
The locations are:
Little Caesars, 2700 W. Baseline Road, Tempe (twice)
Family Dollar Store, 7000 S. Central Ave., Phoenix
Little Caesars, 1800 W. Southern Ave., Phoenix (attempted robbery)
Family Dollar Store, 1600 E. Southern Ave., Phoenix
Dollar General Store, 410 E. Southern Ave., Phoenix
Little Caesars, 711 E. Broadway Road, Tempe
The suspects are described as Hispanic males, 17 to 20 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall and 160 pounds. Both had handguns.
A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and/or indictment of the suspects.
