PHOENIX – Police are asking for the public's help identifying and locating two suspects wanted in connection with five armed robberies in the Valley.
Between July 20 and Sept. 15, two young males have robbed Little Caesars and Family Dollar store locations in Phoenix and Tempe, according to Silent Witness Sgt. Darren Burch.
One of the suspects uses a note to demand money from the cash registers while the other suspect displays a handgun in his waistband.
The suspects flee the area after obtaining the money. No vehicle has been seen.
The locations are:
Little Caesars, 2700 W. Baseline Road, Tempe (twice)
Family Dollar Store, 7000 S. Central Ave., Phoenix
Little Caesars, 1800 W. Southern Ave., Phoenix (attempted robbery)
Family Dollar Store, 1600 E. Southern Ave., Phoenix
Police have released video of the attempted robbery at Little Caesars as well as surveillance photos of the suspects.
One suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 17 to 20 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall, 160 pounds and armed with a handgun. The other suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 17 to 20 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall and 140 pounds, wearing prescription glasses.
A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and/or indictment of the suspects.
