Suspect wanted for armed robberies at Radio Shack, Little Caesars

PHOENIX -- Police are searching for a suspect in connection with several armed robberies in the Phoenix area.

The robberies occurred on May 3, May 17 and May 20.

Police said the suspect twice entered the Radio Shack at 75th Avenue and Encanto Boulevard and pulled back the slide of a black semi-automatic handgun then demanded cash from the store employee.

Before leaving, the suspect told the clerk to lie facedown on the ground. The suspect fled eastbound, jumping fences in a residential neighborhood.

The suspect is described as a white male, 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, 150 pounds with a thin build, pale complexion and light-colored eyes.

He was seen wearing a gray sweatshirt with light-colored horizontal stripes and a black cloth covering the lower portion of his face.

The suspect is also wanted for a robbery at Little Caesars Pizza at 75th Avenue and Lower Buckeye Road.

On Friday, police released surveillance video of one of the robberies.
