PHOENIX -- Silent Witness is putting up a reward for information leading police to the man who made off with cigarettes and cash from a Phoenix Circle K store last month.

According to police, the man walked into the Circle K on 27th Avenue south of Missouri Avenue shortly before 1 a.m. on Tuesday, May 22.

The suspect grabbed a drink and placed it on the counter before pulling out a handgun and demanded money and cigarettes.

The clerk put the money tray on the counter and the suspect calmly emptied the tray, appearing to pocket the money. The clerk then bagged the cigarettes and the drink and handed it to the suspect who then left the store, fleeing on foot. It's not clear how much money he got away with.

Police have released surveillance photos and video.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male between 17 and 19 years old. He's about 5 feet 10 inches tall, and weighs about 155 pounds. In the photos and video, he was wearing a long-sleeve black shirt and a plain black baseball cap.

Silent Witness is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the case.
