GILA BEND, Ariz. -- Two Border Patrol agents are dead after their SUV collided with a fast-moving freight train while they were helping pursue a group of alleged illegal immigrants Thursday morning.

Detective Aaron Douglas of the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office, and Kenneth Quillin, the supervisory Border Patrol agent for the Yuma Sector Communications Division, shared what they know about the crash during a new conference nearly five hours after the incident.
