PHOENIX -- Phoenix police are asking for the public's help to track down a man accused of committing three armed robberies in the course of about 24 hours.

Police said the robberies occurred at a Circle K near 19th Avenue and Van Buren Street, a Circle K near Glendale and 24th avenues and a Subway restaurant at Osborn Road and Seventh Avenue in Phoenix.

The robberies took place between 11:15 a.m. on March 24 and 2:20 p.m. the following day.

In all three cases, he threatened employees with a gun and demanded money then fled in a dark-colored Dodge Neon or similar type of car, according to Silent Witness coordinator Sgt. Darren Burch.

The suspect is described as a white male, 40 to 50 years old, 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall, heavyset, bald with light or graying facial hair. He also has tattoos on both arms.

Police have released surveillance videos of the robberies.

Anyone with information about the crimes is asked to contact Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS or silentwitness.org. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered in the case.
