CHANDLER, Ariz. -- Three people are in custody and Chandler police are looking for a fourth suspect allegedly involved in a string of thefts from Walmart stores valleywide.
According to police spokesman Detective Seth Tyler, the four suspects and two unidentified females stole large amounts of electronics from Walmart stores beginning last July.
Bobby Joe White, 19, was taken into custody on April 14 and charged with 80 counts of organized retail theft, 40 counts of theft and 40 counts of criminal damage. He remains in custody at the Maricopa County Jail.
Property crimes detectives from the Peoria and Chandler police departments arrested Manuel Sanchez Tafoya, 19, and Joseph Adam Keller, 18, on Tuesday. They were booked into the Maricopa County Jail.
Tafoya was charged with four counts of organized retail theft, two counts of trafficking in stolen property, two counts of fraudulent schemes and two counts of theft.
Keller was charged with 24 counts of organized retail theft, 12 counts of trafficking in stolen property, 12 counts of fraudulent schemes and 12 counts of theft.
Jorge Luis Sotelo Jr. is still outstanding. He is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 6 feet tall and around 235 pounds. Anyone with information relating to his whereabouts should contact the Chandler Police Department at 480-782-4130 or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.
Silent Witness is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to Sotelo's arrest and/or indictment.
