PHOENIX -- Phoenix police are asking for the public's help to identify two suspects in an armed robbery at a Subway restaurant.

Police said the suspects were covering their faces when they entered the Subway at 51st Avenue and Indian School Road at approximately 5:40 p.m. on Nov. 30.

A white male suspect stood by the front door as a lookout while a Hispanic male jumped the counter, showed a gun in his waistband to the clerk and demanded money.

Sgt. Darren Burch said the clerk was forced to open the register and the suspect took the money.

The suspects fled southbound from the restaurant and no vehicle was seen.

The Hispanic male is described as 25 to 35 years old, 6 feet tall, 215 pounds, wearing a black hooded jacket and had a white bandanna covering his face. The white male is described as 25 to 35 years old, 5 feet 9 inches tall, 150 to 170 pounds, wearing prescription glasses, a black jacket and brown cargo shorts. He concealed his face with his jacket and undershirt.

A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information that leads to the arrest and/or indictment of the suspects.

Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to contact Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS or silentwitness.org.
