PHOENIX -- No major weather changes are anticipated for metro Phoenix over the next several days.
We’ll continue with lots of sunshine and breezy conditions at times. High temperatures will be running in the 60s and lows will be around 40, depending on your location in the Valley.
The latest drought forecast continues to bring us the likelihood of dry weather. The Climate Prediction Center says the Southwest should experience warmer than normal temperatures and drier than normal conditions through the end of March.
Even as far as six months out, the long range forecast is drier than normal. That could be setting us up for a potentially devastating fire season, as the forest would be very dry.
