LEGO KIDSFEST
If you or your kids are Lego lovers,then you have to check out the Lego KidFest in Glendale this weekend. For the first time, in the Southwest, Lego brings Kidsfest to Glendale's University of Phoenix Stadium.  There'll be tons of Lego-related activities, shows and contests. Brave the Lego & Duplo Construction Zone and build your own things or learn new things in the interactive, creative and educational activities area. DODGEBALL PALOOZA
Spend some time this weekend  dipping, diving and ducking at Paladin Sports Outreach's 4th Annual Charity Dodgeball Tournament. It's taking place at Barney Family Sports Complex in Queen Creek. Those wishing to play have to be eighteen years old and teams can consist of six to eight players. The cost per player is $20.00 plus 10 non-perishable food items. Money made from the event will benefit financially disadvantaged kids, so they can participate in local, organized sports programs. PHOENIX ZOO PROWL & PLAY
It's hot out but here's one way you can beat the heat with your kids. The Phoenix Zoo is hosting one of its Prowl & Play events Saturday from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. While exploring the Zoo grounds at night, you can also enjoy animal meet & greets, cool off at Yakulla Caverns or Leapin' Lagoon water play areas, and participate in kid-related games and prizes. SCOTTSDALE'S SUNDAY FUN DAY ON 5TH
If you're in downtown Scottsdale Sunday afternoon and looking for something to do, check out their Sunday Fun Day on 5th event. It takes place from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on 5th Ave. The event features unique arts and crafts, entertainment, food and shopping at Scottsdale's one-of-a-kind boutiques. Admission and parking is free.
