PHOENIX -- The week was off to a warm start with a Monday high temperature of 76 degrees in Phoenix.
Tuesday looks just as nice, with more sunshine in the forecast and a high of about 75 degrees.
Overnight lows tonight will dip to the 40s and low 50s before warming to the low 70s again Wednesday and Thursday.
High clouds will increase tonight and tomorrow as a weather disturbance passes to our south, but no rain is expected.
That won't be the case, though, with a stronger and colder storm that arrives Friday.
A low-pressure system off the coast of the Pacific Northwest will drop down toward Arizona, bringing windy and cooler conditions Friday, along with a chance of precipitation by Friday evening.
Snow is likely in the high country throughout the weekend.
Rain chances continue on Saturday for the Valley and highs this weekend are only expected to warm to the 50s. Overnight lows behind the storm will drop to the 30s.
