TEMPE, Ariz. -- Silent Witness is offering a reward for information that leads to the arrest of four people involved in an armed robbery late last year.

Police said on the night of Dec. 18 a woman was approached by a white female suspect in a parking lot at the Tempe Market Place.

The suspect attempted to pull the woman’s purse from her grasp, but the woman resisted.

An SUV subsequently pulled up and a white male exited the rear passenger seat carrying a handgun. The man pointed the gun at the victim and demanded that she hand over her purse.

The woman complied, and the male and female suspects jumped into the SUV and left the area.

A short time later, the male and female suspects were seen with two other men using the woman’s credit cards at several stores in the area of Southern and Mill in Tempe.

Surveillance footage captured all four individuals as they used the woman’s cards.

The female suspect is in her 20s, has long brown hair, and stands approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall.

The male suspect with the handgun stands 5 feet 10 inches tall and is said to have a medium build. He is also in his 20s.

The third suspect is a white male in his 20s with short dark hair, a stocky build, and tattoos on both arms, including two stars on his left elbow.

The fourth suspect is also a white male in his 20s. He’s described as being taller than the other three suspects.

The vehicle used in the crime is a gray or silver smaller model SUV.

Anyone with any information can call 480-WITNESS or 1-800-343-TIPS. You can also visit silentwitness.org.

A reward of up to $1,000 will be offered for information that leads to an arrest or indictment of the suspects.
