PHOENIX -- A storm system passing to the east of Arizona Thursday and Friday will bring some slightly cooler temperatures to the state, but no rain or snow.
At this point, it is likely that we’ll finish out the month without any rain at Sky Harbor Airport.
Records show that a dry January is pretty unusual. The last rainless January we had was 2006, and we’ve had at least four totally dry Januarys in the past century.
For the next couple of days, we’ll see high temps in the low-to-mid 70s. By next week, we’ll head back toward 80 degrees again.
