PHOENIX -- A 46-year-old Phoenix man is facing 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor after police said they found child pornography in his home on Thursday.

Phoenix police detectives from the Arizona Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC) served a search warrant at Christopher Ray Jurgens' home located near a school bus stop in the area of Van Buren and 32nd streets.

According to court documents, police found thousands of images depicting the sexual exploitation of minors on Jurgens' computer and external hard drives. Police said printed material of children engaged in sex acts also was located in the home.

Jurgens was arrested and booked into the Maricopa County Jail. His bond was set at $150,000.

Police spokesman Sgt. Tommy Thompson said detectives also found child-type candy and drinks, children's clothes, toys and coloring books, but there were no children living in the residence.

Anyone with information concerning these crimes is encouraged to call the Internet Crimes Against Children Detail at 623-466-1828 or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.
