PHOENIX -- We’re going to continue to see nice, quiet weather through the weekend around metro Phoenix with highs around 90 and overnight lows around 60. After that, we’re going to deal with a significant weather change next week.
A rather strong storm system is going to drop from the north bringing windy conditions, a big drop in temperatures and a chance for rain and snow. However, at this point the storm isn’t looking super-moist. Even so, the latest models are giving the Valley a chance for showers on Wednesday.
Temperatures will be headed downhill all next week. Monday we’ll be in the mid 80s. Tuesday highs in the mid 70s are expected, and Wednesday we may struggle to reach 70 degrees. After that, we’ll warm up rather nicely.
The early forecast for Halloween is sunshine with a high around 73 and no chance for rain.
