SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Former NFL quarterback Jim McMahon gave 3TV a tour of his sprawling home in North Scottsdale with priceless views of the McDowell Mountains.
"I knew back in 1994, I was playing here for the Cardinals and I just fell in love with the weather," said McMahon. "It makes my body feel pretty good. I was in Chicago for 28 years. I can't deal with the cold anymore."
The property is more than two acres. The main home is more that than 6,400 square feet with four bedrooms, and five bathrooms.
There is a bridge over a Koi pond at the front door and a beautiful swimming pool in the backyard. The backyard also has a huge fire pit.
The open floor plan has high ceilings with wood beams, walls of stone, a huge fireplace and floor to ceiling windows.
"This home here, when you walk in you can see the natural Arizona stone kind of frame the windows," said Mark Marsillo with Realty Executives.
The large kitchen has an island, stainless steel appliances and hand-painted cabinets.
There is also a guest home on the property. It's nearly 1,000 square feet with one bedroom, a kitchen and a two car garage.
