PHOENIX -- High pressure building over the desert Southwest will lead to a mild final few days of 2013. Look for Valley highs in the upper 60s both today and tomorrow, and low 70s from Wednesday through the weekend.

Mostly sunny skies can be expected, with only some high clouds from time to time.  Overnight lows will continue to dip to the mid 30s to mid 40s around town.

Weather should be perfect for the Sun Devils tonight when they play Texas Tech in the Holiday Bowl in San Diego. Light winds and temperatures in the 50s are forecast under clear skies.

Here in the Valley, temperatures will be mild this year for New Year's Eve celebrations. Temperatures should be in the low 60s by 7 p.m., but will drop to about 50 degrees by midnight.

No rain is expected for at least the next seven days.
