PHOENIX -- Ryan and Christy O'Donnell welcomed a baby boy to Arizona's Family Wednesday.
Jameson Ryan O'Donnell came into the world at 2:33 p.m., weighing 7 lbs. 6 oz. He and Mom were home from the hospital Thursday evening. Friday morning, Jameson made his "Good Morning! Arizona" debut, nestled comfortably in Dad's arms.
With Christy off-camera, Ryan spent a few minutes chatting with Uncle Javier Soto and Aunt Kaley O'Kelley from Jameson's nursery.
Used to getting up extremely early in the morning for "Good Morning! Arizona," Ryan is getting even less sleep now that Jameson has arrived.
"I don't know how much sleep we've had here the past couple of days," he said.
"We hardly get any kind of sleep working on the morning show," he continued. "We don't hardy get any sleep when you have a newborn."
While fatherhood looks good on Ryan, he's already learned that there's one this Dad simply can't provide.
"What I'm finding out that Kaley can understand ... being this young, Mom's got the feeding cannons, and that's all he pretty much wants," he said. "I get him for about five minutes and then he says, 'Nope, I need some food.'"
That's just how newborns roll. It's be a different story in a few short months.
Congratulations, Ryan, and thanks for introducing baby Jameson to Arizona's Family.
