PHOENIX -- There’s a slight chance that residents of the East Valley could see an isolated storm or two this week.
A few thundershowers popped up in eastern Arizona on Tuesday, and the storms are expected to increase on Wednesday.
It’s possible that the eastern parts of the city could see a thunderstorm or dust storm Wednesday, as the temperatures remain in the low 90s.
The storms will be giving way to the heat as the week progresses, with temperatures reaching the mid 90s on Thursday.
The high on Friday is expected to hit triple-digits, and temperatures will remain above 100 into next week.
