CHANDLER, Ariz. -- Kid's Closet Connection is a local semi-annual sale connecting people who want to sell gently-used children's items to those who want to purchase quality kids' items at a fraction of retail prices.
The next sale is August 21-23 at East Valley Center, 240 W Warner in Chandler. Most items remaining on August 23 are marked down 50 percent.
After the sale, many left over items are donated to the New Life Center. These items end up directly in the hands of those in need of essential kid's clothing, baby gear and nursery items.
Consignors make 65 percent of the profit from the items they sell. Each sale is set up like a department store and features gently-used children's clothing, strollers, car seats, baby equipment, kid's furniture, toys, outdoor play equipment, exer-saucers, books, DVDs, computer software and more.
More than 400 families are expected to participate as sellers.
3TV's Heid Goitia got the lowdown on the event.
