The market features vendors selling unique, vintage goods, and focuses on the idea of taking items you already have and making them new again.
Lindsey Holt and Coley Arnold of Junk in the Trunk Vintage Market visited Good Morning Arizona Thursday to talk about the event.
They also showed how to give a table a distressed look.
- Use a table you already own or buy an inexpensive one from somewhere like an auction or antique shop
- Cover the table in Annie Sloan Chalk Paint
- Take a sand paper block and rub it all over the table to give it a distressed look
- Cover the table in a wax
Junk in the Trunk Vintage Market costs $10 for early entry or $5 for regular admission. The event lasts from 8 a.m.- 3 p.m. Saturday.
The first 300 people at the event receive a Junk in the Trunk Vintage Market reusable bag.
