MESA, Ariz. -- One of the world's best extreme wheelchair athletes is in town. His name is Aaron Fotheringham, but he likes to go by "Wheelz."
“I do crazy tricks and I've been riding since I was 8 and just found skate parks are actually really fun in a wheelchair,” said Wheelz.
"Wheelz" has lived with the debilitating effects of spina bifida his whole life, but he's not letting it deter him from pulling off some pretty amazing tricks in a wheelchair.

Those tricks got him picked to be in a live, touring, extreme sports show called "Nitro Circus."

On Monday, "Wheelz" caught up with some young kids at "Kids That Rip Skatepark" in Mesa, to offer up some words of advice.
"Just keep pushing yourself, you always want to have fun with your sport, so I'm just trying to keep up with them in my chair,” Wheelz told the kids.
You can see "Wheelz" perform his front and back flips when "Nitro Circus Live" comes to town on Jan. 24 in Glendale, Ariz. at Jobing.com Arena.
