CHANDLER, Ariz. -- Something old, something new! A defunct wedding venue in Chandler has reopened under new ownership, and with a new name and look.

The former Inspirador is now called SoHo63. You might remember back in April when Inspirador abruptly shut its doors, leaving 60 brides without a wedding venue. Couples received letters announcing the wedding venue was in foreclosure.

Now, the venue has gotten new owners, not to mention a facelift. The new owners debuted SoHo63 Tuesday morning, showing off all its renovated features.

"It's a hidden gem," says Megan Schmidt, event curator at SoHo63. "You walk through the gates and every room is a new surprise."

The venue features an indoor ceremony space as well as indoor and outdoor reception halls. The hip and historic style of the rooms was inspired by New York City.

And the owners are hoping to lend a hand to brides left in the lurch by Inspirador's closure. "We've actually reached out to all past and previous Inspirador brides," says Schmidt. "We have definitely been working with several of them to get them back into the space they fell in love with."

SoHo63 is located at 63 E. Boston Street in Chandler. For more information visit www.soho63.com, or call 480-878-5663.
